FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about learning Saudi Arabic with SaudiLingo — from dialect basics to orders and refunds.

Learning Saudi Arabic

What's the difference between Saudi Arabic and Modern Standard Arabic (MSA)?

MSA is the formal, standardized Arabic used in news, books, and official writing across the Arab world — it's rarely how people actually speak. Saudi Arabic (part of the Gulf dialect family) is the everyday spoken language used in Saudi Arabia, with different vocabulary, pronunciation, and expressions. SaudiLingo focuses on the spoken Saudi dialect so you can actually understand and communicate with people, not just read textbook Arabic.

Do I need any prior Arabic knowledge to start?

No. Our beginner materials are built for complete beginners, starting from the alphabet and basic sounds before moving into everyday vocabulary and phrases.

Can I use SaudiLingo material on my phone or tablet?

Yes. Our eBooks and audio lessons are digital files you can access on any device — phone, tablet, or computer.

Lessons & Courses

What's the difference between the books and the courses?

Our Educational Books and Mini Books are self-paced digital products (eBooks and audio lessons) you can work through on your own schedule, starting right away. Our live, structured Courses are currently in development — you can join the waitlist to be notified the moment they launch.

Can I share my purchase with someone else?

Our materials are licensed for personal use only. Sharing, uploading, reselling, or redistributing any content isn't permitted.

Orders, Delivery & Refunds

How will I receive my purchase, and how fast?

All our products are digital and delivered electronically — instantly after checkout, usually within a few minutes, via email confirmation, a download link, or access instructions (such as a QR code for audio content). If you don't see it within a few minutes, check your spam folder, then contact us if the issue continues.

What's your refund policy?

Because our products are digital and delivered instantly, all sales are final once a digital product has been delivered — except if you were charged incorrectly, didn't receive access to your purchase, or a technical issue is preventing access. For booked private lessons, you can reschedule or cancel free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice; cancellations made less than 24 hours before, or no-shows, aren't refundable. See our full Return & Refund Policy for complete details.
