Saudi Arabic had no real path. So we built one.
Learners kept telling us the same thing: there was almost nothing for the Saudi dialect. No structured books, no clear beginner path — just scattered videos and textbook Arabic that nobody in Saudi actually speaks. SaudiLingo started in 2020 to fix that, with step-by-step books, a video course and live lessons in the Arabic people really use.
You studied Arabic. Then you landed in Saudi — and nobody spoke like the textbook.
Most courses teach Modern Standard Arabic — the language of news, books and speeches. It is useful, but it is not what people say at the supermarket, in a taxi or across the desk at work.
And for the Saudi dialect itself, there was very little: no structured books, no beginner path, nothing that took you step by step. SaudiLingo started in 2020 to close that gap. We teach the Saudi dialect people actually use, explained in English and written in English letters — so you can speak on day one and learn the script later, if you want to.
Today the books with native audio, the A1 video course and our live 1-on-1 lessons all follow the same clear path, so everything you learn builds on the last.
Our measure of success is simple: the first time someone in Saudi replies to you in Arabic instead of switching to English.
- عArabic
- SSaudi
- LLingo
Three letters, folded like an open page
Look closely at our mark and you will find three letters in one shape: the Arabic ع for Arabic, an S for Saudi, and an L for Lingo underneath. Together they fold like an open page.
That is SaudiLingo in one small shape: the Arabic people really speak in Saudi Arabia, opened up for you one page, one phrase and one real conversation at a time.
